Overview

Specifications vary in formatting, so INGENIOUS.BUILD offers a review feature to ensure your Specification set is well-organized before publishing it to a project. When you upload a set, the system automatically scans for keywords to generate Divisions and Sections as bookmarks. You can then review, adjust, or refine these bookmarks for seamless navigation through your Specification book.

Process

  1. Upload a Specification Set
    Once uploaded, your set will appear in the listing view. Click the Review button to begin.

  2. Review and Adjust Bookmarks

    • On the review page, you can:

      • Add bookmarks: Define specific sections by assigning start and end pages.

      • Edit bookmarks: Modify scanned bookmarks for accuracy.

      • Delete bookmarks: Remove unnecessary or incorrect bookmarks.

  3. Publish the Specification Set
    When your bookmarks are finalized, click Publish to save your changes and return to the Specifications listing view.

With these steps, you can ensure your Specification set is structured for efficient navigation and collaboration.
