Verify that relevant settings in Company Settings (e.g., Currency, Office Locations, Business Units) are properly configured by your Workspace Administrator.
Overview
Project Information settings allow you to define key details such as project status, phase, location, and more. Some settings, like currency and business units, are linked to company settings, so ensure that your workspace administrator configures them. For guidance on configuring company settings, click here.
Process
1. Accessing Project Information Settings
Select the project from the Project List.
In the left-hand project menu, click Project Settings.
Select the Project Information tab.
Click Edit in the top-right corner to begin updating details.
2. Editing Project Information
Project Name:
Cannot be edited by users. Contact the Support team to request changes.
Project Status:
Choose from the following options:
Feasibility: Project in planning, not yet started.
Scheduled: Start date set, but work has not begun.
In Progress: Project work is underway.
Completed: Project finished; no further time can be billed.
On Hold: Work temporarily paused.
Cancelled: Project stopped permanently; no further time can be billed.
Project Phase:

Planning/Design
Preconstruction
Procurement
Construction
Post-construction
Closeout
Currency:
Defined in Company Settings by the Workspace Administrator.
Office Location:
Select from locations set in Company Settings.
Business Unit:
Choose from business units defined in Company Settings.
Project Dates:
Start Date: When your scope of work begins.
Baseline Project Start & End Date: Scheduled start and end dates.
Forecast Project Start & End Date: Anticipated start and end dates.
Client/Contact Person:
Edit the contact for the client company selected during project creation.
Sector/Industry:
Select the sector or industry relevant to the project.
Project Location:
Enter the project address.
Project Size:
Choose between Imperial or Metric units.
Fill in fields such as Gross Area, Rentable Area, or Usable Area.
Type of Service:
Specify the service your company provides for this project.
Add a new service type by typing it in and clicking +Add New Type.
Project Type:
Select the type of project or add a new one.
Tags:
Use custom tags to group and analyze projects with similar attributes.
3. Save Changes
Click Save Settings to apply updates or Cancel to undo changes.
Key Notes
Changes to Milestone List once applied to a Project Schedule, do not affect already applied milestones.
Tags, project types, and services allow for portfolio-level filtering for better project grouping and management.
