Overview

Daily Reports is a useful tool to help track daily activity on your job site. Submitted by general contractors and subcontractors, these reports give you a daily snapshot of progress, safety, potential delays, and conditions all in one place.

What Are Daily Reports?

Daily reports are located within a project under the Construction and Design Tools section. These reports include important on-site information such as:

  • Weather conditions

  • Manpower hours

  • Safety incidents or violations

  • Progress updates on tasks

  • Supporting documentation and images

The goal is to help monitor developments on-site and prepare for project closeout.

Navigating the Daily Reports Tool

Accessing Reports

You can view reports from the last 7 days, 30 days, or view all available reports.

Creating a Daily Report

When you select "Create Daily Report", here’s what you’ll see:

1. Report Details

  • Date: Defaults to today’s date (you can manually adjust it).

  • Project: Automatically filled in.

  • Tags (optional): Add custom tags for organization.

2. Manpower

Record who was on-site and when they worked:

  • Add employees and input their clock-in/clock-out times.

  • The system automatically calculates total hours.

  • Use “Apply time to all” to save time when employees work identical shifts.

  • You can also remove employees not applicable for that day.

3. Productivity

Track progress on tasks:

  • List all tasks worked on that day.

  • Indicate % of completion toward the final goal.

  • Add expected completion dates.

  • Attach images or files if needed.

You can manually adjust progress by dragging the percentage bar.

4. Issues

Safety Incidents

  • Mark if an incident occurred.

  • Provide details like time, type of incident, affected parties, and a description.

  • Upload supporting documents or images.

Safety Violations

  • Specify the violation type (e.g., fall protection, scaffolding).

  • Identify the company involved.

  • Describe the event and attach documentation if applicable.

5. Site Operations (Weather)

  • Record weather conditions if relevant (e.g., storms, snow, extreme heat, delays).

  • The system may auto-fill this using weather data based on your job site’s location.

  • Helps track how weather impacts your project timeline.

Once all of the necessary fields are completed you can choose to Submit the Report or Save as Draft.

Why Do Daily Reports Matter?

These reports serve as a real-time progress log for your site. They help you:

  • Stay ahead of delays or issues

  • Monitor team productivity

  • Identify safety concerns early

  • Document site conditions and work completed

By following the steps above, you’re equipped to keep your job site organized, compliant, and on track. If you have any questions, please contact support using the chat icon in the bottom right corner of every page.
