This guide is designed for Owner’s Representatives beginning their INGENIOUS.BUILD journey. In this article, you'll learn how to:
Log into the INGENIOUS.BUILD training workspace
Navigate through INGENIOUS.BUILD, and understand how the workspace interface is organized
Access walkthrough trainings that will teach you how to create a project, create a budget, access bid packages, and more!
Logging in to the INGENIOUS.BUILD Platform
Click Here: https://auth.ingenious.training
Enter your email address and click Continue
Enter your password and click Continue
If you do not have your password, reach out to your company admin/leader
You are now logged into the INGENIOUS.BUILD training portal dashboard
NOTE: The recommended browser for using INGENIOUS.BUILD platform is Google Chrome.
Navigating Your Workspace
The Left Hand Navigator is the main way to navigate through your workspace. Take a moment to test out navigating to different areas of your workspace!
The Left Hand Navigator allows you to:
Move between different areas of your workspace
Access key project tools
Return to your main dashboard by clicking the Dashboard option at the top of the page
How to Minimize the Left Hand Navigator
Click on the Unlock icon at the top of the Left Hand Navigator to minimize the Left Hand Navigator. If desired, you can click the Lock icon at the top to re-pin the Left Hand Navigator to your screen.
NOTE: Check your browser window zoom settings by clicking in the top right corner of the browser and confirm that you are at a zoom of 100% or lower to ensure that you are seeing the full dashboard.
Projects
Once you create a project in Module 1, you can find it by clicking on Projects in the left hand navigator, or by clicking See All in the Recently Viewed Projects section on your dashboard.
It is important to understand that there are two kinds of dashboards - your main INGENIOUS.BUILD dashboard, and a dashboard for each individual project. You can tell which dashboard you are in by looking at the left hand navigator to see if the options are related to the main dashboard or the project dashboard!
For example, the top of the main dashboard will say Dashboard:
Whereas the top of the project dashboard will say Project Dashboard, and have the name of the specific project you are viewing:

Begin by reading through this article, and then use the buttons provided below to take you through the different modules in the simulated training project:
Begin Module 1: Project Creation & Setup after completing this article to learn about project setup.
Begin Module 2: Project Budget & Funding to learn how to create a project budget after you have completed Module 1.
Begin Module 3: Bid Packages to learn about bid packages after you have completed Module 2.
Begin Module 4: Contracts & Contract Changes to learn about contracts and contract changes after you have completed Module 3.
Begin Module 5: Invoicing to learn about invoicing and pay applications after you have completed Module 4.
Now that you are familiar with the interface and how to navigate through your workspace and projects, it's time to jump in! Proceed to Module 1.
