Overview

This guide empowers users to manage project budgets with greater precision by enabling Manually Unallocated Funds or Owner/Client Scope Billing Data. It provides the flexibility to set aside funds and customize how they are displayed within the budget.


Process

Enabling Manually Unallocated Funds

  1. Navigate to Project Settings within your project.

  2. Go to the Budget / ACR tab.

  3. Click Edit and toggle on Manually Unallocated Funds.

    • You can also enable visibility for these funds in a new Column of your budget.

    • This will allow you to move funds from one cost code in the Unallocated Funds columns to the Manually Unallocated Funds column.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.


Enabling Owner/Client Scope Billing Data

  1. Navigate to Project Settings within your project.

  2. Go to the Budget / ACR tab.

  3. Click Edit and toggle on Break Out Owner/Client Scope Billing Data

    1. This will break out billing data between Base Scope which is the sum of the original contract plus change orders that do not have the type Owner/Client Change and Owner Scope which will be the sum of change orders with type Owner/Client Change.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.
