Creating a Proposal

Learn how to create and submit a proposal after accepting an RFP in INGENIOUS.BUILD.

Overview

Once you’ve accepted an RFP, you can create a proposal for your client. This guide walks you through accessing the RFP, filling out the required sections, and submitting your proposal within INGENIOUS.BUILD.


Process

1. Access the RFP

  • Notifications for RFPs can be found:

    • In the Notifications Center from the left-hand navigation menu.

    • On the Main Dashboard, visible in the top-right corner.

Click the RFP notification to open it. You’ll see a summary of the RFP, including:

  • Project scope

  • Exclusions

  • Deadlines

  • Location

  • Bid form

  • Q&A

  • References


2. Indicate Intent to Bid

  • Click Intent to Bid to start creating the bid form and initiate the RFP process.


3. Create the Proposal

  1. Edit Budget/Fee

    • Scroll to the Edit Budget/Fee section to start filling out the bid form.

    • Complete all required line items.

Note: The markup field is confidential and only visible to you as the bidder.

2. Save Progress

  • Click Save to save your edits.


4. Fill Out the Q&A Section

  • Click Edit Q&A to open the Q&A form.

  • Answer the questions in the text boxes.

  • Click Save to finalize your responses.


5. Complete the Services Scope of Work

  • Navigate to the Services Scope of Work section.

  • Fill in the required details based on the RFP requirements.


6. Submit the Proposal

  • After completing all sections, click Submit to send the proposal to the RFP company.


Summary

  • Access the RFP: Review the RFP details and requirements.

  • Intent to Bid: Indicate your intent to create a proposal.

  • Edit and Submit: Complete the Budget/Fee, Q&A, and Scope of Work sections, then submit the proposal.
